Legal & Compliance Manager

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a seasoned Legal & Compliance Manager to join a leading financial institution based in Singapore. This role offers the chance to support, develop and embed risk and control mechanisms for the business, independently overseeing and challenging the effective management of risks and controls.

What you'll do:

As a Legal & Compliance Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our compliance and conduct policies are fit for purpose and meet the relevant regulatory expectations.

• Assessing existing and proposed financial plans and policies, ensuring that our financial administration is efficient and effective.
• Tasked with identifying areas of concern, bringing significant variances with supporting detail to the attention of management.
• Providing regulatory compliance and conduct insight, oversight and challenge in relation to relevant business units.

What you bring:

To succeed as a Legal & Compliance Manager within our organisation, you will bring a wealth of experience from previous roles in compliance, conduct or risk management.

• Deep understanding of the regulatory environment and its frameworks will be crucial in this role.
• Experience interpreting regulatory rules and regulations and legally qualified to advice on APAC cross border regulations
• Ability to manage and influence business stakeholders coupled with your understanding of conduct risk management principles will set you apart
