An exciting Associate (six-month contract) job has just become available at a Singapore based exchange conglomerate. This role requires you to ensure consistent, transparent, balanced and effective regulation of issuers which will instil confidence in market and issuers.

About the Associate (six-month contract) Role:
In this business critical role, you will be responsible for the build up the quality of activities and relationships with stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Reporting to the Team Leader and Head, Listing Compliance, this position is responsible for managing a portfolio of listed issuers, detect non-compliance of listing rules and responding to queries and providing advice on simple listing matters

• Monitor compliance with listing rules and liaising with issuers on regulatory issues
• Process simple to moderate corporate actions within relevant time frame
• Attend meetings concerning his/her portfolio and take minutes of such matters
• Provide support to team members
• Contribute to initiatives for refining and enhancing the listing compliance framework to support product and market growth and development and to sustain market relevant regulations and to retain first-mover advantage
• Contribute to initiatives for maintaining/improving appropriate and relevant systems, procedures and databases to ensure effective and efficient execution of listing compliance functions

To succeed in this Associate (six-month contract) role, you will need to ensure consistent, transparent, balanced and effective regulation of issuers which will instil confidence in market and issuers.

Key Requirements:

• Ability to use existing procedures to solve simple routine problems

• Exercise initiative, reasonable judgement and discretion under close supervision
• Meticulous and accurate in reviewing and processing information
• Ability to convey and communicate decisions and information clearly and accurately
