An exclusive Head of Compliance job has just become available at a reputable financial services firm based in Singapore. You will be reporting to the CCO/COO.

About the Head of Compliance Role:
In this role, your key responsibility is to ensure that the operations adhere to all relevant laws and regulations within the MAS requirements. As an Asia Compliance lead, you will be overseeing and managing the compliance function across SG and HK.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive compliance policies and procedures in line with applicable laws and regulations
• Monitor and assess regulatory developments to ensure ongoing compliance with evolving requirements
• Conduct regular compliance risk assessments and gap analysis to identify areas for improvement
• Implement and manage a robust compliance monitoring program, including conducting periodic reviews and audits
• Investigate and report any compliance violations or irregularities promptly and develop corrective action plans as needed
• Act as the primary point of contact for regulatory authorities and coordinate responses to inquiries and examinations
• Coordinate with senior management and internal stakeholders, highlighting key compliance metrics and issues plans as needed

To succeed in this Head of Compliance role, you need to have at least 10 years of experience within the financial industry, preferably at a hedge fund/investment firm.

Key Requirements:

• Familiar with MAS and SFC requirements
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Able to work indepedently, making decision and able to work in a fast-paced environment
