A new and exciting VP - Anti Bribery and Corruption job opportunity has become available at a reputable bank and you will be reporting to the Regional Head of Anti-Bribery and Corruption.
About the VP - Anti Bribery and Corruption Role:
In this role, your key responsibility is to implement the aspects of the compliance programme to comply with the anti-bribery and corruption policy across APAC.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support ABC matters with other stakeholders to implement and update the processes to ensure that it is consistent to the procedures and controls
- Assist with ABC operational matters within the APAC region, including dealing with ABC escalations including business transactions, engagement of consultants, hiring practices and gifts and entertainment (G&E)
- Assist with the delivery of management information (MI), provide briefings and construct appropriate reports to present to senior stakeholders
- Support the team with inspections, reviews and enquiries undertaken by internal/external audit and regulators relating to ABC and assist in any related investigations
To succeed in this role you will need to have at least 10 years of prior experience in financial crime with good knowledge of bribery and corruption laws and regulations (UK Bribery Act, FCPA, etc.)
Key Requirements:
- Banking experience, business relevant university degree or comparable qualifications
- Management and/or supervisory skills
- Good knowledge of fraud, bribery and corruption systems, controls and preventative measures, including experience in giving ABC related advice and approvals
- Ability to work effectively in a great team environment
