VP - Sanctions Advisory

An attractive VP - Sanctions Advisory job has just become available at a reputable financial services firm based in Singapore to assist and support the Regional Head of Sanctions.

About the VP - Sanctions Advisory Role:
In this role, your key responsibility will be to support the team from legal, regulatory and reputational risk involving sanction countries.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide guidance on sanctions-related questions and issues
• Interface with client service officers on transaction-related requests and to comply with the sanctions policies and procedures
• Monitor the sanctions regulatory situation in the region
• Participate in global and regional calls to update on regional developments

To succeed in this VP - Sanctions Advisory role, you must have at least 10 years of experiences within a financial institution or investment bank with financial crime background - knowledge in sanctions is a plus.

Key Requirements:

• Strong project management and planning skills experience
• Strong stakeholder management skills and experience in managing a team and developing the skill set and knowledge
• Strong attention to detail and being meticulous in reviewing sanctions-related issues for all escalations from business units and APAC location
