What you'll do:

As Vice President of Rates Sales, your main focus will be fuelling growth within the Rates Trading business. You will acquire a thorough understanding of the rates and local currency market, its participants, macro-economic drivers, and structure. Your knack for establishing strong relationships with key market participants will be vital in this role. Working hand-in-hand with the Sales team, you will strive to understand market requirements from both existing and potential clients. Your role will also involve boosting revenue and volume by cross-selling new products to our existing client base. You will take the reins in defining product positioning and developing marketing communication strategies. Additionally, you will be tasked with crafting compelling marketing pitches to draw in new clients while providing regular market updates and insights.

• Drive and expand the Rates Trading business, including STIR and Listed Fixed Income derivatives products.
• Gain a comprehensive understanding of the rates and local currency market, its participants, macro-economic drivers, and structure.
• Establish and nurture close client relationships with key market participants.
• Collaborate closely with the Sales team to understand market requirements from existing and potential clients.
• Boost revenue and volume, cross-sell new products to the existing client base.
• Define product positioning and develop marketing communication strategies.
• Craft compelling marketing pitches/ideas to attract new clients.
• Provide regular market updates and insights to clients.

What you bring:

As the ideal candidate for the Vice President of Rates Sales position, you bring along 7-12 years of relevant experience in Rates and FX derivatives sales. You possess robust market knowledge as well as technical expertise in Rates/FX derivatives products. An understanding of APIs, back-office processes, and settlement flows and transactions will be beneficial. You hold a degree or equivalent level of education. Your ability to prioritise tasks effectively, coupled with your excellent communication skills, sets you apart. Proficiency in Excel and PowerPivot is required, and experience trading on Futures would be advantageous. You are detail-oriented and have robust Excel and Bloomberg skills.

• 7-12 years of relevant experience in Rates and FX derivatives sales.
• Robust market and technical knowledge of Rates/FX derivatives products.
• Understanding of APIs, back-office processes, settlement flows, and transactions.
• Minimum of a degree or equivalent level of education.
• Ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPivot.
