Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced professional to join their team as an Associate Vice President in the Internal Audit division. The key business that you will be covering are Sales & Trading and Capital Markets business across the Asia region.

What you'll do:

As an Associate Vice President, Internal Audit, you will play a crucial role in shaping the firm's approach to risk management.

  • Your responsibility will be to formulate and lead assurance activities, ensuring that risks are effectively mitigated.
  • You will also execute audit engagements within set time frames, proactively identifying both existing and emerging risks.
  • Your ability to articulate actionable insights will be crucial in informing management about the critically and impact of these risks.
  • A key part of your role will involve continuous monitoring and risk assessment of key business processes, driving a risk-based audit plan.
  • You will also collaborate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders globally, aligning projects with department priorities.

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for the Associate Vice President, Internal Audit role will bring a wealth of experience in auditing or a related field with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience.

  • You will have advanced knowledge of industry, global markets and regulations including exposure to derivative products and quantitative risk management concepts.
  • Your strong understanding of audit principles, methodology, tools and processes will be crucial in this role.
  • You will also have the ability to articulate risk and impact clearly to different audiences.
  • Your effective change and project management techniques will be beneficial in supporting teams in adapting new ways of working.
