What you'll do:

As Tax Manager, you will oversee local and international tax responsibilities, ensuring compliance across multiple jurisdictions. You will work closely with finance, audit, and internal stakeholders to meet statutory obligations, strengthen controls, and improve tax processes. Your technical expertise and collaborative approach will help safeguard the organisation’s tax integrity while supporting strategic initiatives.

  • Oversee Singapore tax compliance and reporting for multiple entities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Support US, Canadian, and other international tax compliance requirements aligned with the group’s global operations.
  • Prepare and review estimated tax calculations.
  • Partner with the Head of Tax to document tax implications of significant transactions.
  • Conduct technical tax research on international initiatives, new transactions, and business proposals.
  • Manage Singapore tax audits and incentive scheme compliance; support US and Canada tax reporting where required.
  • Collaborate with Internal Audit to design, document, and maintain effective tax controls.
  • Review and reconcile tax balance sheet accounts to ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Drive continuous improvement of tax processes in response to regulatory and legislative changes.
  • Support tax-related audit matters, including controversy management and resolution.

What you bring:

You bring strong technical tax expertise combined with experience navigating complex, multi-jurisdictional environments. You are highly organised, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities. Your communication skills and collaborative mindset allow you to work effectively with both internal and external stakeholders, while maintaining the highest standards of integrity.

  • Degree in Business or Accounting from a recognised institution.
  • CA / CPA qualification
  • Minimum 10 years of accounting experience, including at least 4 years specialising in taxation.
  • Strong knowledge of Singapore tax regulations and international tax frameworks.
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Experience with financial systems and accounting software.
  • Background in both public practice and in-house tax roles is advantageous.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Flexible, adaptable, and able to perform effectively in a changing environment.
