What you'll do:
As a Senior Tax Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing all tax reporting and compliance for our client's APAC subsidiaries. Your excellent organisational skills will be utilised as you coordinate the preparation, review and submission of direct and indirect tax return filings. You will also advise on indirect tax matters including both VAT and GST. Your analytical skills will come into play as you monitor and collaborate in technical implementation of tax developments across relevant jurisdictions. You will also support all APAC tax audits, responses to tax notices and timely resolution of other tax controversy matters.
  • Coordinate and organize the preparation, review and submission of direct and indirect tax return filings
  • Develop and maintain the company's transfer pricing documentation
  • Advise on indirect tax matters including both VAT and GST
  • Support quarterly and annual US GAAP tax provision reporting
  • Monitor and collaborate in technical implementation of tax developments across relevant jurisdictions
  • Support all APAC tax audits, responses to tax notices and timely resolution of other tax controversy matters
  • Develop strong working relationships with internal stakeholders and external advisors
  • Analyze processes and recommend improvements in immediate areas of responsibility
  • Participate in local projects or initiatives, evaluate potential impact on local tax aspects
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for the Senior Tax Analyst position brings more than five years of tax experience from a mix of public accounting and multinational corporate environments. A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance is strongly preferred. You have excellent communication skills which enable you to interact effectively both internally across various departments such as accounting, legal, etc., as well as externally with consultants, statutory auditors and tax authorities. Your detail-oriented nature ensures accuracy in your work and you have a strong work ethic with a passion for problem-solving.
  • More than 5 years of tax experience in public accounting and multinational corporate environment
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance strongly preferred
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Detail-oriented team player understanding the value of accuracy
  • Experience in working within tax rules in APAC countries with specific focus on India, Singapore, Japan, Korea.
  • Excellent skills in MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Strong work ethic and passion for problem-solving
