An exciting Tax Analyst (six-month contract) job has become available at a global tech company. You will be responsible for managing primarily corporate tax matters and the implementation of tax strategies across the APAC region.

About the Tax Analyst (six-month contract) Role:
Reporting to the APAC Tax Lead, you will work closely with the regional accounting teams, outside advisers and the global tax teams. You must have strong technical knowledge in corporate tax matters, and a good understanding of withholding tax, indirect tax and transfer pricing matters.

Key Responsibilities:

• Researching international tax issues – working with outside advisers as necessary – as part of the tax team supporting business initiatives
• Defining, managing and coordinating tax requirements for existing and new product launches and other initiatives
• Providing relevant tax guidance and work to build understanding with the business so that adherence is maintained
• Assessing and communicating how existing or future tax laws and regulations will impact the business
• Assisting with managing relationships with outside tax advisors and regulatory authorities on an ongoing basis

To succeed in this Tax Analyst (six-month contract) role, you must demonstrate the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams and partner well with people at all levels within an organisation. You must also be able to work in a dynamic, fast-paced, informal, and often ambiguous and rapidly changing business environment.

Key Requirements:

• Professional tax, accounting or legal qualification (e.g. CA, ACA, ADIT, CTA) or similar
• At least six years of international corporate tax experience with a public accounting firm, major law firm, and/or in industry, preferably a multinational corporation
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
