Senior Accountant - 6 Months Contract

You will be pivotal in supporting day-to-day activities and transactions across various finance functions. You will be responsible for processing journal entries in SAP, preparing accounts payable, and managing online banking & bank account reconciliation. You will also be required in maintaining the fixed asset register and assisting with annual external audits. Furthermore, you will provide support to the Finance Manager during month-end closing activities and on various projects.

The ideal candidate for this Senior Accountant role brings along excellent SAP and Microsoft Office knowledge coupled with proven experience in an accountant position within a multinational company. You possess sound business acumen and have a deep understanding of tax requirements as well as internal control. Your problem-solving skills are top-notch, complemented by your ability to pay attention to detail while maintaining a sense of urgency. As an effective communicator, you are committed to teamwork and have good English language skills both verbally and written. A minimum qualification of a diploma in Accountancy or equivalent degree level with at least 5 years' experience in a similar role is required.

• Excellent SAP and Microsoft Office knowledge
• Proven experience in an accountant position, ideally in a multi-national company
• Understanding of tax requirements as well as internal control
• Sound business acumen and understanding of the underlying reporting aspects
• Good problem-solving and analytical skills, sense of urgency and pro-activeness with attention to details
• Effective communication and committed team-player
• Good English language skills (verbal and writing)
• At least a diploma in Accountancy or degree level or equivalent with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role
