Our client is seeking an Accountant for a 3-month contract - very high chance for extension or conversion. This role offers an exciting opportunity to utilise your experience in month-end closing activities, statutory audit, and tax reporting. The successful candidate will be responsible for timely completion of month-end closing activities, ensuring the completeness and accuracy of Fixed Asset, AR, AP, and GL account reconciliation review.
What you'll do:
As an Accountant on a 3-month contract, you will play a pivotal role within the finance operations team. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include managing financial month-end closing activities, ensuring the completeness and accuracy of various accounts such as Fixed Asset, AR, AP, and GL. You will also be tasked with consolidating and reporting to the Corporate Office. Additionally, you will take charge of tax reporting and coordinating Statutory Audits. This role requires meticulous attention to detail, excellent time management skills, and a collaborative approach.
- Complete month-end closing activities in a timely manner
- Review the completeness and accuracy of Fixed Asset, AR, AP and GL
- Perform account reconciliation reviews
- Consolidate and report to the Corporate Office
- Responsible for tax reporting
- Coordinate Statutory Audit
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for this Accountant role will bring a wealth of experience in handling financial month-end closing activities, statutory audit, and tax reporting. You should be conversant with IFRS accounting standards and have hands-on experience with SAP Fixed assets, AP, AR and GL modules. Familiarity with Singapore Corporate tax and GST is essential. We are looking for someone who is meticulous with a keen eye for detail. Good time management skills are crucial in this role as well as being a dependable team player.
