Senior Internal Auditor

About the Senior Internal Auditor (global semicon company) Role:
Reporting to the Internal Audit Manager, you will be part of the Asia Pacific (APAC) region corporate auditing team responsible for assisting the management to identify, assess and provide advice to improve the risk management practices and internal controls in order to fulfil the company’s corporate objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Draft audit reports and audit reviews of the company’s operations including the assessing of design and the effectiveness of the existing internal control to ensure compliance to the company policies and procedures
• Communicate audit review outcomes and proactively participate in suggesting improvements to processes, controls and management practices. This includes the participation of SOX compliance audits, ensuring the implementation and improvement of the best practices in the team
• Audit planning and risk control matrix preparation
• Execute fieldwork and carry out audit tests to ascertain the extent of operations complying with company policies and procedures
• Conduct reviews to ascertain controls over the safeguarding and the usage of company assets
• Ensure follow-up procedures in the accepted recommendations are conducted in a timely manner and adequately implemented by the management

To succeed in this Senior Internal Auditor (global semicon company) role, you must have strong analytical skills with the ability to make sound judgements on the risk, criticality and impact of the issues raised. At the same time, if you must have prior Big 4, SOX, and commercial experience.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in accountancy or equivalent; CPA or CIA qualifications is preferred
• At least five years of relevant audit experience, ideally combining two to three years in external audit and two to three years in internal audit or a finance and accounting role in an MNC
• Ability to communicate and foster strong relationships with various levels of management
• Excellent report writing skills with good command of English and Mandarin (both verbal and written) as you will be working with Mandarin-speaking counterparts
• Experience in the high-tech manufacturing industry with multi-sites operations, SECT 404 (SOX) testing and SAP usage (key modules such as FI-CO, MM, etc.)
• Minimal travel is required
