About the Manager/Senior Manager (Internal Audit) Role:
Reporting to the Vice President, the Manager/Senior Manager (Internal Audit) is responsible for providing independent and objective assurance and consulting services designed to add value and improve the organisation’s operations by providing a systematic, methodological and disciplined approach to evaluate and improve the effectiveness of risk management, control and governance processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct audits and reviews for companies reporting to the group
• Lead some audits each year, which may include supervision of other team members in the audits
• Identify and assess the key risks and operational effectiveness of our business units to help carry out the audit tasks, and to help business units to improve their processes and strengthen their assurance processes
• Besides audit, regularly perform other assignments including consultancy projects. These include post investment reviews, control self-assessment rollouts/verifications, process improvement and digitalisation and continuous monitoring
• Investigate assignments when required or on requests of the management
• Propose and implement ways to transform and enhance the internal audit processes continuously

To succeed in this Manager/Senior Manager (Internal Audit) role, you will need to be independent, proactive and adaptable to the changing environment.

Key Requirements:

• A good degree or higher qualification from a recognised university, with preference in IT, accountancy, finance, economics or engineering
• At least 10 years of work experience, with key experience in internal audit. Other experience in process improvement/digitalisation work processes using robotics and intelligence tools and/or experience in using data analytics software in work processes or projects is useful
• Experience in logistics, supply-chain management or maritime industry is an advantage
• Good experience in leading a small team, supervising and reviewing team members’ work
• Good communication and PowerPoint presentation skills
• High proficiency in Microsoft Office Tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, TEAMS). Good IT savviness with experience in the following areas:
• Use of business intelligence tools (e.g. ACL, Python R, QlikView, Power BI)
• Data analytics, scripting or programming knowledge in software to manage and analyse large volume of data
• Experience in change management, especially in digitalisation or implementation of the above tools or audit systems
• Knowledge in using Galvanize Highbond audit platform and ACL analytics is an advantage
• Language proficiency: Besides English, proficiency in Mandarin to take part in audit assignments in China is required. Proficiency in other foreign languages (e.g. Spanish) is useful.
