An exciting Financial Analyst (six-month contract) job has just been made available in an award-winning tech MNC across the global region.
About the Financial Analyst (six-month contract) Role:
Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will be responsible for the accurate and timely reporting of consolidated financial reports, analysis of financial performance and accounting matters as well as streamlining of financial operation functions across the APAC region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead financial planning cycles
- Lead weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting of operations financial performance
- Partner with the retail team to ensure that controls are in place to optimise and validate investments
- Manage forecasting and business partnering
To succeed in this Financial Analyst (six-month contract) role, you will need to be technically competent in the spectrum of finance and payroll matters. In addition to that, you will also need to have strong team management skills.
Key Requirements:
- CA/MBA/BA/BS in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics or similar degree with five or more years of relevant finance work experience
- Strong technical background including Excel, Cognos, SQL, and Essbase Experience in performing advanced financial and ad hoc analysis using Excel, Financial planning and providing recommendations based on data to senior management for strategic decision-making
- Excellent communication and presentation skills working with multiple peer groups and levels of management
- Strong financial acumen including familiarity with forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis
