An exciting Business Controller (Technology start up) job has just become available at a notable AI-based technology start up. Reporting directly to the Financial Controller, this is a great opportunity for an experienced Chartered Accountant and FP&A professional to advance in their career.
About the Business Controller (Technology start up) Role:
In this role, you will manage the company’s Financial Analysis operations, including areas in FP&A and business partnering for the APAC region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensuring timelines and processes for deliverables are met
- Driving financial analysis to provide insights to the commercial team
- Performing simulations for investments and partnerships
- Working with the business leaders for the business segment’s activities and impact in their markets
- Providing accurate financial information to the management/management reporting on financial performance
- Budgeting and forecasting for the business segments
- Other ad hoc projects and analysis as required
To succeed in this Business Controller (Technology start up) role, you must have a strong background in controllership, FP&A and business partnering, and the confidence to work independently with a self-starter attitude.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree with at least 10 years' finance experience, with a strong understanding of financial concepts and commercial analysis
- Attentive to detail with a high level of accuracy
- Ability to work confidently with team members across countries
