About the Financial Controller (SEA) Role:
Reporting to the SEA Country Manager and APAC CFO, you will be responsible for all aspects of financial management and reporting of the South East Asian (SEA) operations. You are also required to work closely with the SEA General Manager in providing commercial and strategic direction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Be responsible for the set-up and initial operations of subsidiary business across South East Asia
• Be responsible for all aspects of financial management and reporting of the South East Asian (SEA) operations
• Work with SEA Country Manager in providing commercial and strategic direction

To succeed in this Financial Controller (SEA) role, you must have prior working experiences in retail and e-commerce and have a passion for sports.

Key Requirements:

• CA/CPA qualified. Technically excellent with the ability to ‘get hands dirty’ in the mid-term and be comfortable with deep diving specific detail when required – everyone contributes
• Previous work experience in a retail environment and e-commerce
• Exposure to setting up and operating businesses throughout the South East Asian region including Singapore, Taiwan, Malaysia, and Thailand
• Ability to manage teams across multiple countries/cultures is strongly desirable
• Finance technical 50%. People leadership/commercial/business improvement 50%
• Commercially savvy. Ability to partner with the SEA General Manager to drive future business growth
• Provide broad business perspective and insights to multiple stakeholders across all business disciplines, including APAC Director peers. Tell the story behind the numbers
• Strong analytical mindset that drives efficiency. Challenge the status quo
