Our client is seeking a highly analytical and strategic FP&A Analyst to join their team in Singapore. This role offers an exciting opportunity to support the CFO in driving financial strategy and decision-making within a globally diversified group. What you'll do:

As an FP&A Analyst, your primary role will be to support the CFO in driving financial strategy and decision-making. You will be responsible for building detailed financial models for strategic planning while also managing large complex datasets. Your expertise in ERP systems will be crucial in extracting valuable insights from financial data. Additionally, your understanding of accounting principles will ensure accurate financial reporting across all systems. Your ability to analyse large integrated datasets will help uncover key business drivers that will inform strategic decisions. Your role will also involve supporting high-impact initiatives with robust financial analysis.

  • Build and maintain detailed financial models to forecast revenue, expenses, and cash flow for strategic and operational planning.
  • Assist in preparing and monitoring annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and long-term business plans.
  • Perform variance analysis to identify and explain gaps between actual results and forecasts.
  • Manage and work with large, complex data sets, ensuring data quality, accuracy, and consistency.
  • Use ERP systems to extract, consolidate, and analyse financial and operational data.
  • Apply accounting principles to ensure accurate financial data and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Analyse and interpret large integrated data sets to uncover trends, patterns, and key business drivers.
  • Support high-impact initiatives such as mergers and acquisitions with robust financial and data analysis.
  • Identify inefficiencies in financial reporting and analysis workflows.

What you bring:

The ideal FP&A Analyst will bring a wealth of experience in financial planning and analysis. You will have a strong educational background in finance, accounting, economics or data analytics. Your proven experience with data warehouses and data lakes will be crucial in managing large datasets. Your hands-on expertise in ERP systems and advanced data management tools will be invaluable in extracting and analysing financial data. Your proficiency in financial modelling tools such as Microsoft Excel, coupled with your expertise in data visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau, will enable you to present complex financial insights effectively.

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, Data Analytics or a related field.
  • 3- 5+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis.
  • Proven experience working with data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift) and data lakes.
  • Hands-on expertise in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and advanced data management tools.
  • Advanced proficiency in financial modelling tools such as Microsoft Excel.
  • Expertise in data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
  • Proficiency in SQL and familiarity with programming languages (e.g., Python, R) for data processing and analysis.
