An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Financial Analyst to join a leading global confectionery company. This role offers the chance to work in a dynamic and international environment, with the opportunity to contribute to the success of some of the world's most beloved confectionery brands. The successful candidate will be involved in end-to-end forecasting and reporting processes, control and risk management, and will have the chance to collaborate with teams across the globe. With a competitive salary of $54,000 to $60,000 and based in the vibrant city of Singapore, this is an opportunity not to be missed.

What you'll do:

As a Financial Analyst, you will play a crucial role in supporting the finance team. Your responsibilities will span across various aspects of financial planning, reporting, risk management, and stakeholder engagement. You will assist in coordinating financial planning processes, preparing comprehensive financial reports, managing vendor data within SAP, and contributing to annual external audits. Your meticulous nature will be essential in reviewing invoice codings, reconciling accounts, maintaining distributor prices in SAP, and managing fixed assets. This role provides an excellent platform for growth leadership within a supportive environment.

  • Assist with the monthly Financial Planning Process from top line to bottom line, including coordination with relevant stakeholders.
  • Prepare monthly financial reports including business commentaries and variance analysis for review.
  • Calculate SKU profitability and ensure that the relevant file is updated promptly.
  • Submit financial data into the Internal Planning System and prepare report package for key meetings.
  • Liaise with the Global Finance Team on Reporting Instructions and Forecasting Assumptions.
  • Review the coding of invoices to be paid before approval by the authorised personnel and reconcile accounts receivable/payable.
  • Manage vendor master data within SAP.
  • Check and maintain distributor price in SAP.
  • Create purchase order (PO) of fixed assets and manage all fixed assets for the APAC Office.
  • Assist with coordinating the annual external audit process for the APAC Office with key stakeholders.

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this Financial Analyst position brings a strong academic background in Finance or Economics along with a keen analytical mind. Your ability to handle complex Excel spreadsheets will be critical in this role. We value effective communication skills as you'll be liaising with various stakeholders across different levels of the organisation. A strong sense of accountability is required as you'll be entrusted with significant responsibilities. Your meticulous and organised nature will be a great asset in managing various tasks and projects. Lastly, your ability to work independently will enable you to thrive in our flexible working environment.

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably with a major in Finance or Economics
