Our client, a global leader in high-performance private wireless systems, is seeking an experienced Accountant to join their Finance/HR team. This role offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology and contribute to the financial health of a rapidly growing company. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling a full set of accounts, preparing and analysing monthly financial reports, and contributing to financial planning and analysis. With a competitive salary range of $60,000 to $80,000 and based in the vibrant city of Singapore, this role is perfect for those looking to take their accounting career to the next level.

What you'll do:
As an Accountant - Reporting & Analysis, your role will be pivotal in maintaining the financial health of our client's operations. You will handle a full set of accounts independently and prepare detailed monthly financial reports. Your expertise will also be crucial in supporting the Finance Manager with data analytics from the Odoo ERP system. You'll collaborate closely with Operations to ensure accurate reporting of stock levels and manage Accounts Receivable & Credit Control. Your responsibilities will extend to tax and legal compliance, ensuring adherence to Major Export Scheme (MES) requirements. Lastly, you'll have the opportunity to drive automation projects within the Finance and HR areas.


• Preparation of annual statutory financial statements; Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss, Statement of Cashflows.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual reporting for Finance Manager / Senior Management review.
• Maintain General Ledger in Quickbook and supporting schedules.
• Support Finance Manager / Senior Management in data analytics from Odoo ERP system.
• Work closely with Operations to ensure accurate reporting of stock levels.
• Manage Accounts Receivable & Credit Control including preparation and review of AR Aging.
• Prepare payment proposals and vendor invoices & prepare payments via e-banking.
• Prepare monthly US Sales tax schedule for US CPA and perform analysis on tax status in various US States.
• Ensure compliance for Major Export Scheme (MES) requirements in record keeping.
• Drive automation projects in the Finance and HR area.

What you bring:
The ideal candidate for the Accountant - Reporting & Analysis role will bring a wealth of experience and a strong skill set. You should hold a degree in Accountancy or Finance from a reputable university and have 6 to 8 years of relevant experience. Proficiency in QuickBooks and exposure to ERP system processes, such as Odoo or Netsuite, is essential. Your strong MS Excel skills will be crucial in this role. We're looking for someone who can work independently, take initiative on finance-related matters, and demonstrate good communication and interpersonal skills. A 'can-do' attitude and willingness to help others in the team are also key traits we're looking for.


• Degree in Accountancy or Finance
• 6 to 8 years of experience preferred.
• Proficient in QuickBooks accounting system, and exposure to ERP system processes (eg. Odoo, Netsuite).
• Must have very strong MS Excel skills, eg. Vlookup, Data Query, Data Modelling.
• Able to work independently & take initiative on Finance-related matters.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Responsible and able to meet tight deadlines and work under pressure.
• 'Can-do' attitude, with willingness to help others in the team, where required.
