Our client is seeking an Accounts Executive based in Singapore. This is an exciting opportunity to join a global leader in the maritime industry. As an Accounts Executive, you will play a vital role in ensuring effective, efficient, and accurate financial and administrative operations. The salary range for this position is S$40,000 to S$45,000.

What you'll do:
As an Accounts Executive, your primary responsibility will be to provide financial administrative services to ensure effective, efficient, and accurate financial operations. You will be involved in preparing various financial reports such as Profit & Loss account by Service, trend analysis, and forecasts. Additionally, you will verify agents' disbursements, coordinate with JV partners, prepare budgets, handle audits, and contribute to information system improvements. Your role is crucial in maintaining the company's commitment to professionalism and ethical service delivery.
- Ensure accurate and timely preparation of Profit & Loss account by Service, trend analysis, and forecast by Service
- Verify agents’ disbursements promptly and accurately and arrange payments
- Coordinate with JV partner on timely submission of their reports and resolution of disputes
- Prepare and check correctness of Profit and Loss by Service for budgets
- Provide timely accounts schedules for Audit and resolve all audit concerns
- Actively participate in providing input and finding solutions for new or changes to existing systems
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for the Accounts Executive position brings a wealth of knowledge in accounting with at least 3-4 years of relevant experience. Fresh university graduates with strong academic results are also welcome to apply. You should have a strong working knowledge of MS Excel and experience with SAP in a commercial environment would be advantageous. Personal characteristics that will make you successful in this role include being detailed-oriented, having strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and the capacity to multi-task under pressure.
- Accounting Degree Holders with minimum 3-4 years of relevant accounting experience
- Fresh University graduates with strong academic results will be considered
- Experience with SAP in a commercial environment is advantageous
- Strong working knowledge of MS Excel
- Detailed and meticulous with strong problem-solving skills
- High level of accuracy
- Good communication skills and strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to multi-task and work under pressure
