The successful candidate will also be responsible for managing account payables and receivables, inventory management, CAPEX management, and assisting in year-end stock take exercises. What you'll do:

As a Finance Associate, you will play a crucial role in adopting and implementing accounting policies into our client's business operations. You will be responsible for managing daily transaction postings, maintaining monthly accounting schedules, and driving corrective actions with various stakeholders. Your role will also involve managing account payables and receivables, overseeing inventory management, participating in year-end stock take exercises, and assisting in any ad-hoc tasks relating to finance. This role requires a high level of accuracy, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with various teams.

  • Adopt and implement Accounting policies into the business operations.
  • Manage daily transaction posting (AR/AP/Others) & all finance operation matters ensuring accuracy.
  • Maintain monthly accounting schedules (Current assets & Current Liabilities).
  • Drive corrective actions with Buyer and Planner on issues pertaining to the GRIR (PO/Invoice matching) reconciliation process.
  • Manage Account payables and ensure the AP days is within the KPIs.
  • Manage Account receivables ensuring the AR days is within the KPIs.
  • Oversee Inventory management ensuring the Inventory days is within the KPIs.
  • Ensure accuracy on transactions posting including monthly bank reconciliation.
  • Participate and assist in year-end stock take exercise.`
  • Assist in any ad-hoc tasks relating to finance.

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for the Finance Associate role brings a wealth of experience in finance or a related field. You have a strong understanding of accounting policies and procedures, and you are adept at managing daily transaction postings with accuracy. Your experience in maintaining monthly accounting schedules will be invaluable in this role, as will your ability to drive corrective actions with various stakeholders. You have proven experience in managing account payables and receivables, and you are knowledgeable about inventory management processes. Your willingness to participate in year-end stock take exercises and assist in any ad-hoc tasks relating to finance sets you apart.
