What you'll do:

As an Accounts Executive, you will be at the heart of our client's operations. You will support the day-to-day accounting activities and group/statutory reporting of multiple entities. Your meticulous attention to detail will ensure accuracy in financial reports. You will handle both accounts receivable and payable tasks including invoicing, collections, recording supplier invoices and payments. Additionally, you will oversee general ledger tasks such as journals, reconciliations and month-end closing. Your role will also involve handling statutory requirements such as GST returns, audits, tax matters and corporate secretarial duties. You will liaise with various stakeholders including project teams, customers, suppliers, auditors, tax agents and bankers.

  • Support the day-to-day accounting activities and group/statutory reporting of 2-3 entities
  • Ensure meticulous recording of accounting entries correctly and completely
  • Understand and analyse financial data and provide explanation and communicate insights
  • Handle accounts receivable: invoicing & collections
  • Manage accounts payable: record supplier/consultant invoices & payments
  • Oversee general ledger & fixed asset: journals, reconciliations, month-end closing
  • Handle statutory: GST & any other indirect tax returns, audit, tax, and corporate secretarial matters
  • Liaise with project team, customers, suppliers, auditors, tax agents & bankers

What you bring:

The ideal Accounts Executive will bring a wealth of experience in accounting and finance. You will have a minimum of a Diploma in Accounting or equivalent, coupled with at least 5 years of relevant working experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Office software is essential, while experience in Microsoft Dynamic accounting system would be an advantage. Your background may include experience in outsourced accounting services or MNC group finance handling multiple entities for advertising, consultancy, services. You will possess excellent communication skills, enabling you to share information clearly through both oral and written communication. Your strong collaboration skills will allow you to work effectively with people and teams within the business and with external parties. Your proven problem-solving skills will enable you to identify, communicate and resolve issues effectively and efficiently.

  • Minimum Diploma in Accounting or equivalent
