About the Senior Accountant Role:
Reporting to the Regional Finance Director, the Senior Accountant will be playing a critical role in the business, responsible for liaising with relevant stakeholders and ensuring that data is accurate and complete.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage full spectrum of accounting functions in accordance with statutory requirements, financial reporting standards and company policies and procedures
• Review GL and ensure month-end closing are completed timely and accurately
• Review and analyse AR, AP, and intercompany balances for accuracy and completeness
• Review billings, AR collections and AP payments are processed on a timely and accurate manner
• Prepare monthly financial statements and other financial reports required by management and HQ
• Prepare and submit quarterly GST
• Prepare year-end accounts and manage annual statutory audit
• Participate in annual budgeting process
• Review and enhance accounting procedures and processes
• Liaise with tax agent, corporate secretary, legal, banks, and government agencies
• Maintain proper documentation of accounting records in compliance with both internal policies and tax authority’s requirements
• Assist Regional Financial Controller to implement internal control process improvements
• Coach and manage executives in their job duties accordingly
• Attend to other job duties assigned

To succeed in the role, this person needs to possess strong technical and communication skills, is confident in liaising with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Requirements:

• Diploma/degree in accountancy or equivalent, candidates who are recognised as Chartered Accountant of Singapore or ACCA would be ideal
• At least five years of relevant work experience in a position of accountant or equivalent, and handled full set of accounts
• Good working knowledge of statutory requirement, financial reporting standards and up-to-date and sound financial practices
• Able to meet tight deadlines
• Independent and a self-starter who can produce results with minimum supervision
• Meticulous, good numerical sense and comfortable with handling huge datasets
• Strong organisational, analytical, negotiation, interpersonal and communication skills
• Possesses grit and growth mindset, and comfortable working in a fast-growing global company
• A great team player and have experience working alongside finance shared service team located overseas
• Bilingual in English and Mandarin, both speaking and writing as there will be liaison required with the team based in China
• Hands-on SAP Hana knowledge is an advantage
