About the GL Accountant Role:
Reporting to the Financial Accountant, the General Ledger Accountant is responsible for ensuring timely and accurate closing of finance and accounting activities on a monthly basis.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure timely and accurate closing of finance and accounting activities on a monthly basis
• Key coordination of statutory audit reporting, IFRS16 reporting
• Review of the business report(s) at least on a monthly basis with N+1 and quarterly basis with the Finance Manager
• Quarterly analytical review of the CAP Consolidation reporting
• Maintain the coherence and integrity of TEMAP's Chart of Accounts (COA) and GL master data with full review at least annually
• Regularly follow up with the relevant stakeholders on the accruals/provisions
• Monthly review and follow up on the outstanding items on the balance sheet schedules
• Ensure all relevant GL and AP items are cleared timely after informing management on the financial impact
• Ensure local regulatory statistical reporting is prepared and submitted on time
• Prepare tax schedules annually and ad hoc basis to both local tax agent and Group’s tax counterparty and be responsible for quarterly GST reporting and fixed asset and investment management

To succeed in this GL Accountant role, you will need to have experience in full sets.

Key Requirements:

• Degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent professional qualification
• Minimum of five years' post-graduate working experience in related field (e.g. experience with accounting firm)
• Good knowledge of SAP is preferred and Microsoft Office (Advanced Excel and Power Point applications)
• Good knowledge of IFRS/local accounting requirements, tax rules and regulations is preferred
• Working experience with/in shared services is preferred
