Assistant Finance Manager

About the Assistant Finance Manager Role:
Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager Singapore, you will work closely with the rest of the finance team based in Singapore, Australia and Japan as well as other departments across the business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Enhance financial controls by implementing, enforcing, and strengthening a robust system of internal controls, policies, and procedures
• Ensure compliance with international accounting standards and regional statutory reporting requirements, including the management of external audit and tax compliance
• Manage the group’s regional financing arrangements, including covenant reporting and various other information undertakings
• Manage regional income tax compliance obligations, including project execution of special purpose studies with tax consultants
• Assist with other ad hoc projects and duties as required

To succeed in this Assistant Finance Manager role, you must be a hands-on individual, who enjoys technical application skills managing with regional income tax and project executions.

Key Requirements:

• Six to eight years of work experience in Accountancy and/or Finance
• Proactive, positive and a great team player with strong interpersonal skills who can communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
• Excellent organisational skills, able to work flexibly to lead projects and demonstrate critical thinking to solve problems, as well as a willingness to roll up one's sleeves
• Solid knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations
• Desire and ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic collaborative, flexible fun environment
• Experience in the construction industry is advantageous
