Finance Manager

Our client is seeking a driven and self-motivated Finance Manager to join their team in Singapore. This role will work closely with the Finance Director, playing a crucial part in the day-to-day management of the finance function within the APAC region.

What you'll do:

As a Finance Manager, you will play an integral role in managing the finance function within the APAC region. You will be responsible for working with local accounting service providers, reviewing invoices, overseeing regulatory returns, coordinating external audits, and assisting in various group tasks. Your ability to work in a fast-paced environment and your eagerness to learn will be key to your success in this role.

• Work with local accounting service provider to produce timely and accurate monthly management accounts
• Review monthly invoices prepared by Accounts Payable
• Oversee and review the production of quarterly regulatory return
• Assist in the production and review of Year-end financial statements
• Coordinate external audits
• Oversee and review corporate tax returns
• Review expenses payment report prepared by Accounts Payable
• Assist in group tasks where required

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this Finance Manager position brings significant experience from both a fund management firm and a Big 4 audit firm. Your excellent communication skills will enable you to effectively liaise with various stakeholders. Experience managing an India entity would be advantageous. Your ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, coupled with your eagerness to learn and progress your career, will make you stand out.

• At least 4 years’ commercial experience with a fund management firm
• At least 3 years’ experience working for a Big 4 audit firm
• Experience with managing India entity will be an advantage
• Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment
• Fast learner, who is looking to progress their career
