Finance Manager

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Finance Manager to join their team in Singapore. You will be responsible for managing all aspects of finance and accounting, ensuring compliance with organisational policies, handling taxation matters, and supporting HR functions from a finance perspective. What you'll do:

As a Finance Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing the financial health of the organisation. Your responsibilities will span across various facets of finance including accounting, auditing, budgeting, forecasting, taxation, and compliance. You will also liaise with bankers for banking related matters and support HR functions from a finance perspective. Your ability to multitask, meet strict deadlines, and think innovatively will be crucial in this role.

• Manage day-to-day accounting activities.
• Ensure timely monthly closure of books of accounts.
• Prepare analysis of monthly financial statements.
• Handle and manage auditors for timely completion of audits.
• Responsible for Forecast and Budget activity for the unit.
• Liaise with bankers for banking related matters.
• Review processes in the ERP system (SAP) for accounting practices.
• Handle taxation matters and coordinate with tax agent.
• Support HR Function from a Finance perspective on manpower related topics.
• Prepare reports and analysis as per Management requirements.

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for the Finance Manager position brings along a wealth of experience in finance and accounting. You are fluent in English, both written and spoken, with exceptional communication skills that allow you to effectively liaise with various stakeholders. Your strong analytical skills coupled with your meticulous attention to detail make you adept at handling complex financial data. Proficiency in MS-Office Suite, SAP ERP, and data analysis tools is essential for this role. An understanding of internal controls/SOX Compliance would be an added advantage.

• Minimum 7 years of hands-on Finance and Accounting experience.
• Exceptional communication skills both written and spoken English.
• Highly analytical, organised and meticulous approach to work.
• Strong relationship building skills with problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in MS-Office Suite, SAP ERP and data analysis.
• Understanding of Internal controls / SOX Compliance would be an added advantage.
• Ability to multitask and meet strict deadlines.
• Ability to challenge status quo with innovative thinking.
