What you'll do:

As an Assistant Finance Manager, your role will be pivotal in managing full set accounting for the Singapore business. You will be responsible for preparing/reviewing monthly financial reports, handling inter-company issues, managing the preparation of the company’s budget and forecast among other tasks. Your ability to define/improve processes and internal controls will be crucial in this role. You will also provide business support by highlighting potential credit risks, tax exposures, cross border remittance issues and foreign exchange exposures.

• Managing full set accounting for the Singapore business
• Preparing/reviewing monthly financial reports (both Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet)
• Responsible for month-end book closing
• Handling and resolving inter-company issues
• Reviewing and submitting local GST/ corporate tax matters
• Managing the preparation of the company’s budget and forecast
• Managing the annual audit of the company
• Supporting and reviewing monthly Country Sales Reviews and periodic forecasts
• Defining/improving processes and internal controls and ensuring compliance company policies and procedures

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this Assistant Finance Manager position brings a minimum of 7 years’ experience in a Senior Accountant/Assistant Finance Manager role along with a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Management. Experience with SAP ECC6 / S4 HANA would be advantageous. Your strong analytical skills coupled with your excellent interpersonal and communication abilities will be key to your success in this role. Additionally, proficiency in MS Excel is required and being tech savvy is a plus.

• Minimum 7 years’ experience in a Senior Accountant/Assistant Finance Manager role
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Management
• Experience with SAP ECC6 / S4 HANA is a plus
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong analytical skills
• Strong MS Excel skill & tech savvy
