A newly created Finance Manager job has been created at an established logistics firm.

About the Finance Manager Role:
Reporting to the Finance Director, you will assist with the set up of new offices and system implementation in the APAC region.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the new logistics entities and M&A projects in APAC
• Assist with new company set-up and shared services centre in APAC
• Assist in management reporting, forecasting and budgeting on a timely basis
• Develop new accounting policies and procedures for new businesses.
• Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders including HQ and assist with the acquisition and integration of new businesses
• Provide business and financial analysis on existing and new businesses
• Coordinate with relevant professional firms to ensure all compliance reporting is met (i.e. tax, audit, and other regulatory requirements)
• Take a lead role in driving improvements in systems and processes throughout the company

To succeed in this Finance Manager role, you need to have prior Big 4 experience and a proven track record in system and process improvements.

Key Requirements:

• Prior Big 4 experience and Chartered Certified Accountant – ACCA certified or equivalent
• Financial and accounting knowledge in logistics and freight forwarding is preferred
• At least 7 - 10 years of experience in a similar position
• Experience with major ERP systems is required (Oracle Fusion is preferred)
• Strong exposure to IFRS and Oracle ERP systems and leadership, management, strategic planning and analytical skills
• Excellent thinking and problem-solving, communication, leadership and collaboration, and should be able to handle multiple priorities in diverse cultures
