Finance Manager

A newly created Finance Manager job has is now available in a reputable logistics MNC.

About the Finance Manager Role:
Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for the daily finance operations as we ll as management planning and project accounting for the Regional Finance team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform financial management duties including generating financial data, compiling and submitting reports
• Supervise the preparation of quarterly and annual account reconciliations, monitor and enforce compliance with tax and financial reporting standards and assist with cash flow forecasting
• Analyse revenue, expenses, cash flows, and balance sheets
• Oversee the operations and development of the company’s finance departments including creating and reviewing policies, budgeting, recruiting, training and conducting regular assessments of financial procedures
• Budgeting and forecasting for the business
• Maintain an accurate filing and record-keeping system for all financial statements and company documents
• Find ways to reduce or maintain costs by studying financial reports and business processes
• Drive the continuous improvement of end-to-end accounting practices
• Continually identify risks to delivery, propose solutions where necessary and effectively manage stakeholder expectations throughout

To succeed in this Finance Manager role, you need to be technically competent and possess excellent communication skills.

Key Requirements:

• Prior Big 4 experience and Chartered Certified Accountant – ACCA certified or equivalent
• Financial and accounting knowledge in logistic and freight forwarding preferred
• At least seven years' experience in similar position
• Experience with major ERP system required (Oracle Fusion preferred)
• Strong account analysis skill specialised knowledge of accounting, financial management, tax regulations, internal control
• Excellent thinking and problem solving, communication, leadership and collaboration. Ability to handle multiple priorities in diverse cultures
