An exciting Finance and HR Manager job has opened-up at an established industrial automation firm with more than 100 years of history.

About the Finance and HR Manager Role:
Reporting to the Managing Director and to the functional leadership team in APAC, you will be responsible for ensuring the day-to-day operations of the business run effectively and efficiently, statutory reporting as well as ensuring strong governance and compliance is always adhered to. You will also support the Human Resources function in its delivery and implementation of policies in the region.

Key Responsibilities:

Finance and Accounting

  • Manages the day-to day accounting, invoicing, cash management and internal financial reporting
  • Ensure the tasks are carried out in compliance with operating standards, company rules and regulations and statutory requirements, including GST, Corporate Tax and Statutory Audits
  • Manage the overall accounting and financial reporting to ensure compliance with requirements or regulations, cost control, track cost savings, forecasting, budgeting, and internal control process
  • Provides monthly financial advice and follow required actions and means to achieve company profitability targets

Human Resources

  • Responsible for local HR delivery and implementation across the employee life cycle (hire to retire)
  • Liaise with region APAC HR Hub to define key HR processes and set up, review relevant SOPs for better and proper people management as well as aligning with the requirements of local labour laws and regulations
  • Plan, develop, implement and maintain company policies and procedures to ensure company internal control, administrative and corporate affairs processes are effective to fulfil company’s changing needs
  • Prepare monthly staff payroll including payment, and all statutory submission.

To succeed in this Finance and HR Manager role, you should have a strong finance background with statutory reporting experience, experience in handling Human Resource matters and is a confident communicator.

Key Requirements:

  • Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or a relevant field
  • Minimum of five years’ experience in finance management
  • Minimum of one year’s experience in human resources management
  • In-depth knowledge of finance management, human resource management, and best practices
  • Familiarity with SAP an advantage
  • Excellent Microsoft skills especially in Excel, Power BI and PowerPoint
  • Good understanding and adaptability of working in a cross-culture organisation
