About the Financial Analyst Role:
Reporting to the Finance Manager, the Financial Analyst will be playing a critical role in the business, responsible for liaising with relevant stakeholders and ensuring that data is accurate and complete. The Financial Analyst will support all aspects of the financial controlling team, including the monthly financial close, financial reporting and analysis for international operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare the daily profit and loss actual and forecast reporting for all Singapore locations, and maintain all systems and processes related to the reporting
• Manage monthly consolidation of profit and loss and balance sheet results for the Singapore branch
• Support development of all financial planning including the annual budget (by location and division) along with weekly MTD actuals and forecast updates
• Support the Singapore leadership with business case analysis and financial modelling for new business opportunities
• Prepare analysis of Singapore financial key performance indicators
• Participate in management reviews of country cash flow forecasts, providing modelling and analysis to achieve accurate short- and long-term cash requirements
• Recommend system and process improvement initiatives to streamline workflow and improve efficiencies in the Singapore finance function
• Maintain all financial reporting timetables, instructions and exchange rates for monthly financial reporting
• Assist with the development and implementation of accounting policies and guidelines

To succeed in this Financial Analyst role, you must have strong technical skills and the ability to work proactively to drive results. You must also be a self-starter, flexible and goal-oriented in a fast-paced, team-oriented, collaborative environment.

Key Requirements:

• Degree in accounting or finance
• Minimum of three years’ experience in an international corporate accounting or finance environment
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office including demonstrated experience using advanced Excel functions
• Proactive problem-solving abilities and critical thinking skills
• Strong organisational and follow-up skills
• Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks
