Financial Analyst (Management Reporting and Controlling)

A four-month Financial Analyst (Management Reporting and Controlling) job has become available at an energy company.

About the Financial Analyst (Management Reporting and Controlling) Role:
Assisting the Senior Finance Analyst, you will assist the team to ensure month-end analytical profit and loss statement (APL) reflects group and branch reporting rules as well as its coherence with financial accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure control integrity of dataflow from all SAP modules into CO-Module
• Business partner to review the performance of the different business activities on a monthly and quarterly basis
• Prepare monthly management reports for assigned profit centres
• Prepare analytical reviews of key performance indicators and main highlights of assigned business activities for management review and areas of concerns for improvement
• Prepare the annual LTP and budget and the execution of budgetary control
• Be responsible for the full spectrum of CAPEX reporting using the investment management module in template light
• Prepare provisions for monthly, quarterly, annual closing process
• Prepare balance sheet, WCR and cash flow reconciliation
• Support MA in the maintenance and control finance re-billing process
• Manage and monitor SSC production performance through service level agreement compliance monitoring as well as active escalation

To succeed in this Financial Analyst (Management Reporting and Controlling) role, you will need to have good analytical, communication skills and problem solving personality to support continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Requirements:

• Degree in accounting/finance or its equivalent professional qualifications
• Minimum of three to five years of work experience in a related field (management reporting, budget and controlling)
• Good knowledge of SAP is a MUST and Microsoft Office (Advanced Excel and Power Point applications)
• Good knowledge of IFRS/local accounting requirements, tax rules and regulations is preferred
• Work experience in manufacturing and shared services is preferred
• Ability to work independently/with a team to adopt to a fast-changing environment
• Good verbal and written proficiency in English and in the local language of administration are required as the role involves a high level of interaction with internal stakeholders
• Able to adhere to strict reporting timelines with good quality of deliverables
