What you'll do:
As an Accounts Payable Specialist in this regional finance team based in Singapore, you will be entrusted with responsibilities that span supervision of payment operations, cashflow forecasting under sophisticated arrangements, policy enforcement for compliance purposes, vendor data management, issue resolution for stakeholders at all levels, identification of process inefficiencies for improvement recommendations, participation in business maturity initiatives leveraging technology or operational enhancements, contribution to a nurturing team culture through knowledge sharing and supportiveness, as well as upholding professionalism in every aspect of your work. Your day-to-day activities will involve close coordination with various departments including tax and treasury functions across APAC regions. - Forecast and monitor cashflow across the region under a cash pooling arrangement while coordinating effectively with the Treasury team on liquidity management.
- Establish, document, and enforce policies, processes, and controls within the accounts payable function to ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
- Maintain vendor data integrity by overseeing regular updates and ensuring adherence to statutory requirements.
- Act as the main point of contact for resolving complex issues or queries from both internal teams and external vendors, evaluating situations thoroughly before recommending process improvements.
- Identify inefficiencies within current accounts payable practices and recommend enhancements that promote greater efficiency or compliance outcomes.
- Participate actively in continuous business maturity projects alongside other members of the finance team as well as wider organisational units to implement operational improvements or technological solutions.

- Hands-on experience implementing financial processes and controls; familiarity with Oracle Fusion is preferred but not mandatory.
