AP Accountant - 6 Months Contract
Our client is a globally recognised supplier of automotive products and solutions. They are currently seeking an AP Accountant to join their regional team based in Singapore. This role offers the opportunity to provide crucial accounting support to various businesses across the APAC region, working closely with the Finance Lead.
What you'll do:
As an AP Accountant, your role will be pivotal in providing comprehensive accounting support to our client's businesses across the Asia Pacific region. You will be responsible for generating sales invoices, preparing financial statements and budgets, and processing invoices. Your keen attention to detail will ensure accurate record-keeping, while your ability to work to deadlines will contribute to the efficient operation of the finance department. Assisting with month-end and year-end accounts will also form a significant part of your role.
- Generate sales invoices for various subsidiary businesses
- Assist in preparing financial statements and budgets
- Process invoices in a timely manner
- Provide assistance during month-end and year-end account finalisation
- Ensure accurate record-keeping of all financial transactions
- Work closely with the Financial Lead to ensure smooth operation of all finance matters
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for this AP Accountant position brings a wealth of experience from similar roles. With tertiary qualifications in Accounting and preferably some audit experience, you have developed strong skills that make you an asset to any finance team. Your familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics Navision or other ERP systems demonstrates your adaptability and tech-savviness. Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint is essential for this role. Your willingness to learn new systems and processes shows your commitment to continuous professional development. A keen eye for detail ensures accuracy in your work, while your ability to meet tight deadlines speaks volumes about your time management skills.
- Tertiary qualifications in Accounting; Audit experience preferred
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics Navision or other ERP system
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Willingness to learn new systems and processes
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work
- Ability to work effectively under tight deadlines
