Accounts Executive - 6 Months Renewable

Our client is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Accounts Executive for a 6-month renewable contract. You will be responsible for processing accounts payable and receivable transactions, maintaining detailed records, and providing administrative support to the accounts department. The successful candidate will have a Diploma in Accountancy or related qualification, at least 2 years of relevant experience, proficiency in Microsoft Excel, and strong communication skills.

What you'll do:

As an Accounts Executive, you will play a crucial role in managing financial transactions within the company. Your responsibilities will include processing accounts payable and receivable transactions, recording account transactions, assisting with cash book recording and reconciling anticipated disbursements. You will also provide valuable administrative support to the accounts department. This role requires meticulous attention to detail, effective communication skills, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

  • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and timely
  • Record accounts transactions, including invoices, payments and receipts into the system
  • Assist with monthly cash book recording
  • Assist with reconciling anticipated disbursements and unpaid costs
  • Maintain detailed records and electronic files in iManage
  • Provide support for office billings and expense claims reimbursement
  • Provide administrative support to the accounts department as needed

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this Accounts Executive position brings a wealth of experience in accountancy roles. With at least 2 years of experience under your belt, you are proficient in handling all aspects of accounts payable and receivable transactions. Your excellent attention to detail ensures accuracy in all tasks you undertake. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential for this role. Your effective communication skills enable you to interact seamlessly with team members while your ability to work independently makes you a dependable asset.

  • Diploma in Accountancy or related qualification
  • Minimum 2 years of working experience in a similar role
  • Experience in accounting duties for professional services firm will be an added advantage
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Good team player with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
