Our client is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Accounts Executive to join their finance team in Singapore. This role offers the opportunity to work within a dynamic environment, where you will be responsible for performing disbursement, creditor reporting, and fixed assets maintenance under the Accounts Payable functions.
What you'll do:
As an Accounts Executive, your primary responsibilities will revolve around managing various aspects of accounts payable. Your role will also require you to assist with monthly closings using the ONESTREAM reporting module. This position offers a unique blend of responsibilities that will allow you to utilise your accounting skills while contributing significantly to the financial operations of the company.
- Process payments to suppliers and prepare payment vouchers on a timely basis for multiple legal entities
- Prepare journal entries for payments
- Communicate and propose payment offset with hotels in order to reduce aging balance
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly GST/VAT return by updating the monthly payment voucher listings
- Answer bank’s queries & provide supporting when further details needed for overseas telegraph transfer
- Maintain creditor aging report
- Balance Sheet reconciliations for chart of accounts in-charge
- Maintain schedule and entries for IFRS 15 & IFRS 16
- Fixed Assets maintenance and process for addition / disposal / depreciation / laptop inventory
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for this Accounts Executive role brings a strong foundation in Accounting & Finance. Your ability to work both independently and as part of a team, coupled with your organisational skills and self-motivation, will enable you to thrive in this dynamic environment.
- Bachelor Degree in Accounting & Finance
- Minimum 2 years of relevant accounting experience
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Knowledge in SUN, ONESTREAM accounting systems
- Knowledge of accounting principles and standards in Singapore
