This International organization is a market leader in logistics and supply chain services.
Responsibilities:
• Assist Logistics Director of APLL Singapore in new business development, account management, consistent with APL Logistics' marketing policy and philosophy
• Manage sales team to identify, pursue and secure new customer supply chain opportunities in order to meet revenue and profitability goals
• Identify, develop and build business networks and relationships with relevant industry leading customers and customers' key decision makers with the aim to understand overall industry developments and organisation directions.
• Identify, develop and build business networks and relationship with relevant service partners to create the necessary infrastructure and capabilities with the aim to facilitate securing business.
• Work with relevant internal functions to audit supplier/partners performance standards. Manage timely and quality sales pipeline updates
• Develop tools to manage customer trading compliance and contract adherence Review and ensure AR compliance of customer accounts
Requirements:
• 10 years working experience with at least 5-6 years of sales experience in sales and marketing leading a team within a logistics service provider
• Strong background in contract logistics, international logistics and freight forwarding
• Strong and effective written and spoken communications skills
• Excellent customer focus orientation and interpersonal skills
