People Management Responsibilities
An international high end consumer retailer is looking for a dynamic Brand Manager to be responsible for global brand strategies and to identify and develop business opportunities for the region.
Responsibilities:
• Operate as the brand-specific contact for planning and managing business with the company-owned & Franchise-operated stores.
• Serve as primary leadership point of contact for developing brand-level business strategies, financial plans, merchandise assortments, and execution plans for retail and direct-to-consumer channels.
• Directly responsible for managing global brand strategies.
• Manage seasonal sales plans and reorder fulfilment to achieve franchise sales plans, open-to-buy, and store growth.
• Participate in visual mapping process to ensure floor plan direction supports market-specific and store-specific visual display and sales plans.
• Identify business opportunities and propose solutions to maximize profitability.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with international franchise partners
• Provide appropriate business analysis to influence franchise sales
opportunities and assortment strategies
Requirements:
• At least 8 years of experience in retail planning with people management responsibilities
• Strong leadership skills
• Strong business acumen, financial analysis, and technical skills
• Superior written communication, presentation, and listening skills
• Ability to work in a fast paced, entrepreneurial environment
• Able to deliver results by influencing internal and external partners
• International experience required
