My client is a world Leader in Luxury and is currently looking for an experienced IT manager.
Key Responsibilities:
The IS&T department is handling the support and management of computer and applications for about a 100 users based in 2 different locations together with more than 10 points of sales application in Singapore.
At the same time he/she works jointly with the regional and central IS&T team to deploy, coordinate and support global and regional projects and policies. At a local level, projects, support and enhancement activities will be part of the IS&T scope who is providing support and expertise across all local departments (finance, supply chain, marketing, sales, etc.)
The IS&T is supported by external vendors for 1st level support and specific activities and/or projects.
IT role
•Manage computer hardware and software purchase and budget (inventory / renewal / license /etc)
•Monitor and test Disaster Recovery Plan implementation
•Coordinate and provide first line help services to users
•In collaboration with the external IT vendor assist in equipment setup, monitoring and maintenance
IS role
•Support and coordinate the deployment of regional and world wide projects and policies
•Become proficient on usage of POS and CRM
•Maintain IS&T related documentation
•Support users to develop and maintain office tools (Access, Excel …)
•Support the user in the supply chain & finances operations: be a strong support to bring system driven operational enhancements
Key competencies
•Ability to manage external resources and vendors
•Be a team player with good trouble-shooting and communication skills
•Able to work in autonomy and to take initiatives
•Able to understand user requirements and translate them into processes or / and tools
Technical skills
•Knowledge of Access, VB, VBA program preparation, interfaces
•Knowledge in Windows server and workstation support and administration
•Knowledge in SAP, AccPac, Microsoft AX, Warehouse Management System and logistics environment are appreciated
Experience
•At least 2 years of ERP projects support experience
•Solid experience in database architecture and utilization
•Solid experience in server and workstation support on Windows 7/XP, Office, Lotus Notes
