Finance Analyst
A leading Professional Services Company is recruiting for the position of Finance Analyst
This is a key role, reporting to the Finance Director, Asia in providing timely reporting and accurate analysis for financial information and data to management. The overall scope of this position is to be a business partner to country, global Finance Team and business functions.
As a strong business savvy analyst, you will provide revenue management and planning, managing costs and overheads, financial modelling, margin analysis and ROI evaluation to drive the financial and business planning process and proactively influence and support business growth.
Main responsibilities of this role are:
•Lead regional forecasting and budgeting process, working with management, the business and the country finance in the various business units
•Analyse monthly financial results to explain the story behind the financials. This involves working closely with country and business for interpreting pipelines
•Consolidating and analysing financial data for business reviews, revenue drivers, managing budget, variance analysis and evaluating spending effectiveness
•Some closing activities at month end.

KNOWLEDGE, COMPETENCIES & EXPERIENCE:
•Accounting (ACCA, CPA, CIMA) or Finance Degree from a reputable university
•Between 1 to 3 years of financial analyst experience covering financial planning, analysis and management reporting
•Background in MNCs (preferably with regional exposure) and business partnering focus
•Strong commercial acumen and business knowledge
•Self starter who is motivated, flexible and capable of working on own initiative
•Strong analytical and problem solving skills
•Strong communications and interpersonal skills
•Strong accountancy knowledge
•Good Excel knowledge
•Able to work under pressure and tight deadlines
•Team player
•Technical and professional knowledge and skills
•Exposure to Hyperion is added advantage
