Started in Singapore in 2002 as O2 Asia, and then becoming O2 Asia Pacific in 2004, the company has continued its rapid expansion to become O2 Asia Pacific and Middle East in 2006 with its successful entry into the GCC markets that year. O2 AP & ME has its headquarters in Singapore, with offices in Australia, Malaysia and Korea and a sister company in Hong Kong; apart from Singapore, Australia, Malaysia and Hong Kong, it also distributes in Indonesia, Thailand, India, United Arab Emirates, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Kingdom of Bahrain, Kuwait, Taiwan, Pakistan, Philippines and Vietnam.
