Responsibilities:
Responsible for ensuring compliances to financial requirements and preparing periodical reports, weekly cash flow forecast
Prompt and accurate month end close
Month end closing including preparation of journal entries, accruals and review of profit and loss statements
Monthly balance sheet reviews and preparation of account reconciliations
Quarterly GST and VAT Filing
Commission calculation
Assist in the audit process
Internal controls improvements
Make recommendations and implement improvements on periodical financial and operational reports
Responsible for the consistency and accuracy of the accounting entries into the accounting systems for financial statements preparation
Liaise with statutory boards on financial queries
Liaise with Tax Advisors on tax compliance matters
Ad hoc financial and operational reporting as required
Requirements:
6 years experience in finance and accounting.
University degree in finance or accounting or Professional certificate in ACCA
Strong understanding of IFRS, with good knowledge in local financial standards in other Asian countries
Strategic thinking, analytical and tactful
Sensitive to cultural differences, respects and employs the diversities
Pragmatic, influential and negotiation skills
Proactive and a self-motivator, A can-do attitude
Strong drive and commitment towards the job
Key business user of enterprise reporting system (e.g. SAP), strong PC skills
Detail minded
Good command of English, Mandarin and preferably one other Asian language
