This company is a leading engineering and construction company providing engineering, fabrication and construction services. The company has gained recognition as a key player in construction of power plant, petrochemical plant and other industrial process plants.
Responsibilities:
- Perform monthly closing and reporting as well as variance analysis
- Perform budgeting & forecast planning, monitoring and cost control
- Handle tax computation, reporting and compliance
- Review bank and intercompany reconciliations
- Liaise with auditor and tax consultant
- Identify and implement new initiatives to improve transaction efficiency
- Assist in ERP system implementation
- Assist in ad-hoc projects including ad-hoc reporting and statistical returns
Requirements:
- Diploma or ACCA/Accounting Degree
- About 5 years relevant and proven experience. Diploma holder must have minimum 10 years experience.
- Some MNC, engineering or construction-related industry experience preferred
- Good MS Office package skills and working experience with ERP/Accounting systems are essential
- Good leadership and interpersonal skills
- Meticulous with good analytical and technical skills
- Highly pro-active and responsible
- A team player and keen learner
