Responsibilities:
- This job is meant to support the Supply Management Finance function in ensuring that proper controls are in place with respect to various financial activities being undertaken by the function.
- The role will have complete ownership of Supply Management Indirects (corporate as well as regional) It further entails production and monitoring of various financial and non financial information in a timely and accurate fashion that can provide valuable insights to the business in order to facilitate well informed and timely decisions
- Have complete ownership of Supply Management Indirects (Corporate/Regional) i.e. reporting of actuals, accruals, 8Q forecasting including inputs into regional forecasts, analytics as well as managing ICCs for Corporate indirects.
- Be the primary point of contact with Regional as well as Corporate teams on all SM related Indirects information.
- Drive the indirects budgeting process for Supply Management.
- Provide monthly for review/actions.
- Ensure that approved Limits of Authority are circulated and used across all the regions/networks.
- Coordinate with Controller’s department for any accounting issues.
- To contribute to the success of Supply Management Finance by harnessing the power of information (financial/non-financial to allow quick, fact based decision making across the region/networks.
- To play a key role in the department which will be the single point of contact for all information needs of SM Finance across globe.
Exploit the existing knowledge base across the regions/networks, the variety of systems in the countries and the opportunity offered by the Unilever information office network.
- Active participation in preparing communication for internal and external stakeholders
Information Management
- Develop information processes to meet agreed requirements and identified opportunities;
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance preferably someone in pursuit of additional qualification in CIMA, CPA, CA.
- 2 to 5 Years experience in Financial/Information Management/Accounting
- Able to draw specific conclusions from a set of general observations
- Able to draw general conclusions from set of specific facts
- Examines data to understand inter-relationships and correlations;
- Able to compare and contrast details and options
- Able to synthesize information and ideas;
- Familiar with MS Office
