A major financial institution in Singapore renowned for its leading HR practices is looking for a Head of HR Development to engage and lead a team in the delivery of the training, talent management, employee engagement and profiling and recruitment functions to the business.

Responsibilities:

- Ensure that existing courses meet organisation needs and perform revisions and introduction of new courses where necessary.
- Oversees the on-going design, enhancement and implementation of functional training roadmaps.
- Ensure that appropriate tools and processes are put in place for the effective identification, validation, development, management and engagement of the talent on the organisation
- Facilitates succession planning for key positions within the organisation.
- Work with the HR Partners towards effective profiling and recruitment to meet staffing needs
- Assist in the enhancement of employee engagement and drive the design and implementation of effective work life strategies

Requirements:
- Degree educated with a business related degree from a recognised university
- A minimum of ten years of work experience in Human Resources, specifically in a learning and development and talent management/organisational development
- Excellent leadership skills and a proven record in managing a team
- Strong presentation and communications skills, with the ability to influence all levels of the organisation
- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of HR topics in a sophisticated HR environment
